Unlocking Hope

As someone who deeply cares about history, I am glad to share this knowledge and care in an online exhibit to share this historical period and its relevance in today's forms of presenting. The purpose of this exhibit is to inform its readers on the effectiveness of Allied solutions to the pressing issue of Jewish refugees in Europe post-World War II. Our question will be how effective were Allied solutions to the Displaced Persons and refugee crisis post World War II. We’ll be exploring a broad selection of solutions enacted by the Allies from helping Jews immigrate to Palestine for family and religious incentives, to sticking refugees in once-retired concentration camps as a temporary suppressant for a more pressing issue. For those interested this exhibit will offer a far deeper understanding of the refugee issue after World War II and give highlights of the pressing situation the Allies and refugees were dealing with. No matter the historical knowledge you as a reader possess whether you’re a first-year history student, a master’s student writing their thesis, or just someone who wants to learn something new, this exhibit will peak the interest of all.
